Im Rahmen der digitalen Monumenta Gremaniae Historica (dMGH) wurden in einem von der DFG geförderten Gemeinschaftsprojekt zwischen den MGH und der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek, München, sämtliche Editionsbände der MGH digitalisiert und Open Access zur Verfügung gestellt. Neue Bände werden nach einer Schutzfrist von drei Jahren in die dMGH aufgenommen („moving wall“). Bis Ende 2010 war die Volltexterfassung der älteren Bände abgeschlossen. MPG.PuRe is the publication repository of the Max Planck Society. It contains bibliographic data and numerous fulltexts of the publications of its researchers. The repository is based on PubMan, a publication repository software developed by the Max Planck Digital Library. PuRe was introduced in the MPG in May 2009 and replaced the former institutional repository eDoc.

Collection of 949 texts about mysticism and asceticism, written by 414 12th to 18th century authors from the benedictines' abbey St. Walburg in Eichstätt, published between the 16th and the 19th century. Single works have been digitally facsimilized and are available in pdf format. Most texts are written in German, only 10% are in Latin. Nearly half of the works are translations, which accounts for the high degree of cultural exchange between Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal during the 17th and 18th centuries. St. Walburg Abbey is one of the few monasteries that have survived secularization. The monastery's library, the traces of which reach back to the second half of the 15th century, has been preserved completely and is unique regarding its wholeness.

Catalogue of Exhibited Works and Depository Holdings. The online edition Paintings in Museums presents a systematic index of the entire holdings of works, both on display and in deposits, owned by nearly 650 museums in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A comprehensive and current catalogue for over 178,000 paintings, pastels, gouaches as well as mixed-media works from all ages, genres and styles of about 31,200 artists is therefore available to the user.

Das "Répertoire International d'Iconographie Musicale" (RIdIM) ist ein internationaler Verbund zur Verzeichnung und Erschließung von Musik- und Tanzdarstellungen im Bereich der bildenden Kunst und des Kunsthandwerks. In der "Datenbank zu Musik und Tanz in der Kunst" der RIdIM Arbeitsstelle Deutschland werden v.a. Objekte aus größeren Museen, Sammlungen und Bibliotheken in Deutschland katalogisiert. Die Erschließung der Kunstwerke in der Datenbank folgt formalen (Künstler, Titel, Entstehungsland, bzw. -ort, Technik, Datierung, besitzende Institution, Inventarnummer, etc.) und inhaltlichen Kriterien (allgemeine und musikalische Ikonographie, Musikinstrumente, allgemeine Beschreibung). Begleitend zur Katalogisierung dokumentiert die Arbeitsstelle die katalogisierten Objekte mit Bildreproduktionen.

The research database "Scholarly Journals and Newspapers in the Age of Enlightenment", conducted by the Göttingen Academy of Sciences, provides an extensive systematic index to German-language periodicals of the 18th century. It is based on the long-term research project "Scholarly Journals and Newspapers", which besides indexing and digitizing these scholarly journals aims to visualize their significant role for the emergence and structures of the "Enlightened scientific community". The project focuses on interdisciplinary journals, comprising of original contributions, book reviews, scholarly news as well as all facets of critique. The interactive online database also includes the data of the two previous research projects "Index of German-language Periodicals" (IdZ 18) and "Systematic Index of German-language Review Journals" (IdRZ 18). By the year 2025, it will give access to 323 periodicals (ca. 2,775 volumes and ca. 1,260,000 pages), spanning the time period 1688-1815.

Die Stenografischen Berichte über die Verhandlungen des Norddeutschen Bundes, des Zollparlaments und des Reichstags liegen in gedruckter Form kontinuierlich von 1867 bis 1942 in 527 Bänden vor. Sie stellen eine der wichtigsten Quellen zur neueren deutschen Geschichte dar, die allerdings aufgrund unregelmäßiger und verstreuter Register nur schwer zugänglich und darüber hinaus in kaum einer Bibliothek vollständig vorhanden war. Seit 1997 hat die DFG im Rahmen des Programms "Retrospektive Digitalisierung von Bibliotheksbeständen" die Digitalisierung der Stenografischen Berichte gefördert.
