Authoritative, multidisciplinary content covers over 12,000 of the highest impact journals worldwide, including Open Access journals, as well as over 150,000 conference proceedings and more than 50,000 editorially selected books. You'll find current and retrospective coverage in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities, with coverage back to 1900. A unique feature of the WoS is that from any bibliographic record in the database links are available to its cited references, to related articles and to citing articles. In some instances additional links (e.g. to the journal impact factor) may also be available.

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Citation Index makes more than 5.5 million multidisciplinary dissertations and theses searchable, from over 4,100 institutions and more than 60 countries, dating back to 1637. Researchers have simultaneous access to unpublished and published scholarship that helps them to discover emerging trends, identify new areas of research and find post-graduate programs engaged in cutting-edge research. For joint subscribers of the Web of Science and PQDT Global, direct full text linking from the Web of Science to the ProQuest platform is available, giving access to 3 million full-text works from thousands of universities. Preprint Citation Index is a multidisciplinary collection of preprints from a wide range of leading repositories, including arXiv, bioRxiv, chemRxiv, medRxiv, and Preprints.org. Currently, it provides more than 2 million articles ahead of the formal journal publication in the sciences, social sciences and arts & humanities. Papers from more than a dozen additional repositories will be added throughout 2023. Within the Web of Science platform researchers can thus discover preprint records alongside peer-reviewed journal articles and other content sets. This simplifies the process of evaluating preprint quality and trustworthiness by connecting preprints to the versions of record or linking to other scholarly output from preprint authors and the citation network in Web of Science. Furthermore you can link directly to the preprint repositories to view each version of the preprint and download full texts.

MEDLINE® is the United States National Library of Medicine's (NLM®) premier bibliographic database providing information from the following fields: Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Veterinary medicine, Allied health, Pre-clinical sciences. as well as information from international literature on biomedicine, including the following topics as they relate to biomedicine and health care: Biology, Environmental science, Marine biology, Plant and animal science, Biophysics, Chemistry. The database contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from approx. 5,000 biomedical journals published in the United States and in 70 other countries. MEDLINE contains well over 13 million citations dating back to 1946. NLM uses a controlled vocabulary of biomedical terms to index articles, to catalog books and other holdings. MEDLINE’s controlled-vocabulary thesaurus contains Medical Subject Headings (MeSH®) to describe the subject of each journal article in the database. MeSH terms provide a consistent way of retrieving information that uses different terminology for the same concept. Within MEDLINE’s thesaurus, MeSH terms display hierarchically by category, with more specific terms arranged beneath broader terms.

SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) is a program of the Sao Paulo Research Foundation for the cooperative publishing of open access journals on the internet. Content includes regional journals from Latin American and the Caribbean as well as titles from Spain, Portugal and South Africa. The index covers approximately 650 titles (over 350 adding content to journals already covered in the Web of Science) and contains several million cited references.

The KCI Korean Journal Database provides a comprehensive snapshot of the most influential regional content from researchers in South Korea. Using citation connections from the Web of Science™, regional work is framed within the broader context of global research. Created in collaboration with the National Research Foundation of Korea, this database covers articles from approximately 2,000 scholarly journals (over 1,500 new to the Web of Science).

BIOSIS Citation IndexSM combines critical BIOSIS® content with powerful citation indexing and Web of Science search and discovery capabilities. The resource provides seamless searching of nearly 5,000 journal titles and 20 million records in the life sciences field, as well as 165,000 documents from more than 1,500 meetings, with coverage dating back to 1926. Cited References are added for all BIOSIS® records back to 2006. For items added prior to 2006, citation data will only be available if they also are covered in the Web of Science Core Collection.

The Data Citation Index (DCI) on the Web of Science™ platform provides a single point of access to quality research data from repositories across disciplines and around the world. DCI includes bibliographic metadata from research data in Data Studies and Data Sets from a wide range of international data repositories. Source records include three document types: Repository, Data Study, and Data Set. Each record in the product contains standard bibliographic metadata such as author, abstract, keywords, descriptor terms, and more. Records may include cited references and citing article counts. DCI covers research areas in the social sciences, physical sciences, life sciences, and humanities.

Derwent Innovations Index (DII) is a comprehensive database of international patent information, merging records from the Derwent World Patents Index® with patent citation information from the Derwent Patents Citation Index® (Derwent PCI). The index provides web access to over 14 million basic inventions and more than 20 million patents, with coverage dating back to 1963 in some technology areas. The database gives users a comprehensive overview of inventions in the global marketplace in three categories: Chemical, Engineering, and Electrical & Electronic. The bibliographic records are enriched by citation data from Derwent PCI appearing in patents from 6 major patenting authorities. Derwent DCI provides details of citations, both patent and literature, reviewed by the examiner during the examination of a patent application. Prior to May 1997, examiner and author citations were provided for 16 patent-issuing authorities. The database also contains a backfile with patent records dating back to the 1970's. Every week approximately 25,000 patent documents from more than 47 patent-issuing authorities are reviewed and value enhanced by Derwent's patent experts. In addition, every week new cited and citing references are added for approximately 45,000 records from the six major patent-issuing authorities. The resource also includes Derwent Chemical Reactions (DCR), a unique database of searchable chemical structures and other substance-based information. It is used to search for specific compounds that are indexed in Derwent World Patents Index records.

CC Connect also offers access to eFirst content, which allows you to view bibliographic information from several hundred electronic journals before an issue is published in print. CC Connect provides a very convenient way to select the newest editions of your journals of interest and to browse their Tables of Contents (TOC). BIOSIS Previews® is the world's most comprehensive reference database for life science research. It covers original research reports and reviews in biological and biomedical areas. Coverage includes traditional areas of biology, such as botany, zoology and microbiology, as well as related fields such as biomedical, agriculture and ecology. Interdisciplinary fields such as medicine, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering and biotechnology are also included. Nearly 5,500 serials are monitored for inclusion. In addition, the database covers content summaries, books and meeting abstracts, papers and posters. Content summaries include notes and letters, technical data reports, reviews, U.S. patents from 1986 to 1989 and from 1999, meeting reports from 1980 to present, bibliographies, nomenclature rules, and taxonomic keys. The BIOSIS Previews database includes the contents of Biological Abstracts (1969 to present), Biological Abstracts/RRM (1980 to present) and BioResearch Index (1969 to 1979). As part of the Web of Science (WoS) BIOSIS Previews permits convenient use of Biosystematic Codes/Names for searching groups of organisms as well as the use of Concept Codes/Headings that represent broad subject areas.

Zoological Record provides access to publications in animal biology and biodiversity. It covers 5,000 serials, plus many other sources of information, including books, reports, and meetings. It contains, in particular, a significant amount of literature on insects, reptiles, birds, fish and wildlife which is not included elsewhere (e.g. in BIOSIS Previews). It is also a leading taxonomic reference work.
