The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book covers the national bibliography of the Jewish people: a detailed description of all the literature printed in the Hebrew alphabet, across the world in all languages. The Hebrew bibliography includes most of the books printed in Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish, Judeo-Arabic and other Judeo languages found in Israel and worldwide, printed since the establishment of the Hebrew print (around the year 1460) till 1960. The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book also includes a short biography for authors, translators, editors involved in the Hebrew literary creation. The database includes more than 115,000 books and more than 15,000 short biographies.

The Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) is a style guide for American English published since 1906 by the University of Chicago Press. The CMS deals with various aspects of editorial practice, from American English grammar and usage to document preparation. It also prescribes writing and citation styles widely used in publishing. The platform offers the full contents of the most recent two editions.

Complete full text database of Chinese publications particularly from the republican period (1911 - 1946) to the present, with a focus on publications issued before 1976. These publications are difficult to be obtained abroad, since the book market for the People's Republic of China was globally available only after the late 1970s. The database contains 700,000 titles (monographs, collections, partly journals from the republican period and other forms of text) from all subject areas, including literature and archival material. The focus lies on social sciences and humanities.

The DeepL Translator is a neural machine translation service that is freely available online. Launched in 2017, it started with translations between 7 European languages and currently supports 24 languages. The MPG subscription to DeepL Pro ensures unlimited text translations and that the translated content is not stored or reused. The Deposit Once of the Technische Universität Berlin makes qualified scientific text documents and research data of members of the TU Berlin available online. The repository is committed to the principles of Open Access and includes parallel publications from peer-reviewed publishers (post-prints) as well as dissertations, monographs, conference proceedings, collections and other scientific treatises.

The ScienceDirect interface provides access to the electronic content owned by Elsevier and third-party information providers like Cell Press. Max Planck researchers have full text access to nearly the entire journal collection with archival content, including Cell Press and The Lancet journals. Throughout Europe, national patent offices and the European Patent Office (EPO) offer free patent information on the Internet Patents reveal solutions to technical problems, and they represent an inexhaustable source of information: more than 80 percent of man's technical knowledge is described in patent literature. From the middle of 1998 onwards, esp@cenet users have been able to access the bibliographic data of all patents published in the preceding two years by any member state of the European Patent Organisation, as well as by the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In addition, full-page facsimile images of documents are also retrievable to facilitate more detailed analysis of these documents. The data for this particular service is stored at the relevant national office.

The Journal Citation Reports provide statistical information on journals (e.g. journal impact factors) sourced from the Web of Science Core Collection. The JCR includes information on more than 9,500 science journals, 3,500 social sciences journals, 1,500 arts & humanities journals and 4,500 Gold Open Access journals. Although available on a separate platform, the JCR may directly be accessed from most of the records included in the Web of Science.

JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources in 75 disciplines. Users from the Max Planck Society have access to selected archival collections of scholarly journals and more than 3,000 Open Access ebooks. The book selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries. For the archival collections, JSTOR's agreements with publishers include an updating provision referred to as a "moving wall". The moving wall is a fixed period of time ranging, in most cases, from two to five years, that defines the gap between the most recently published issue and the date of the most recent issues available in JSTOR.

Zenodo is an open data repository, developed and operated by CERN. It is an catch-all repository, that welcomes research from all over the world, and from every discipline. Zenodo does not impose any requirements on format, size, access restrictions or licence. A digital object identifier (DOI) is automatically assigned to all Zenodo files and it is integrated into reporting for research funded by the European Commission.
