It will grow to become the most comprehensive resource for the study of social and cultural life yet created. The majority of the content is in English, with some French and German material. Geographical coverage is global, with special focus given outside the developed world. The database contains 18th and 19th century primary literature in German, English, and French from the Corvey library, and thus presents the holdings of a library of the nobility preserved as a whole. Nearly all textual genres are represented, whereas the contentual focus lies on the Romantic period between 1790 and 1840 (1870, respectively). The collection is structured in a modular way with regard to languages and textual genres, and comprises 5,952 works which are provided in digital form for the first time. FRANCIS indexes multilingual information and provides in-depth coverage of humanities and social sciences.

This collection altogether (in two parts) contains more than 220,000 pages from 848 ebooks by authoresses of the 18th and 19th centuries; first and foremost covering short stories, but also plays, travel literature, children's books, biographies and memoirs. The ebooks were created from books which were originally published during the classical and romantic periods, the pre-March era (Vormärz), the period of Young Germany (Junges Deutschland) and afterwards, and which stem from holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. The collection contains digitally enhanced facsimile pages of the historic book pages, with links pointing to relevant sections of the works.

The research database "German Literary Expressionism Online", published in 2009, compiles 151 journals, yearbooks, collections and anthologies from the early 20th century, containing 40,000 articles and 79,000 full text pages in total.

In the late 1800's, Dutch physician and feminist Aletta Jacobs and her husband C.V. Gerritsen began collecting books, pamphlets and periodicals reflecting the revolution of a feminist consciousness and the movement for women's rights. By the time their successors finished their work in 1945, the Gerritsen Collection was the greatest single source for the study of women's history in the world, with materials spanning four centuries and 15 languages. The Gerritsen curators gathered more than 4,700 publications from continental Europe, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, dating from 1543-1945. The anti-feminist case is presented as well as the pro-feminist; many other titles present a purely objective record of the condition of women at a given time.

LIVIVO bundles scientifically relevant resources from the subjects fields medicine, health, nutrition, environmental and agricultural sciences. It provides a common search interface over various data sources, such as library catalogs, specialist bibliographic databases, full texts from journals, and quality-controlled web content. LIVIVO combines the former ZB MED search portals MEDPILOT (2003 to 2015) and GREENPILOT (2009 to 2015).

The MPI EVA Library Catalogue provides information on books and journals available from the Institute's library.

The MPI-MP opened its reference library in 1995. The library houses over 2000 books and 120 prominent molecular biology-related journals.

Currently 139 journals are being indexed, normally back to the publication year 1993. -- Die Datenbank OLC Germanistik ist ein fachbezogener Auszug aus der Datenbank Online Contents und erschließt Inhaltsverzeichnisse von Zeitschriften aus dem Bereich "Deutsche Sprache und Literatur". The database OLC Ibero-America, Spain and Portugal is a regional related section from the Online Contents database that is constantly being completed with the addition of selected journals from the competent Libraries, the Library of the Ibero-American Institute Prussian Cultural Heritage (Ibero-America and the Caribbean) and the state and university library SUB Hamburg (Spain and Portugal). Currently more than 1.400 journals are being indexed. Gradually earlier editions of these journals will also be made accessible.

OLC Psychology is a subject oriented selection of bibliographic data from the Online Contents database. This database is regularly enhanced by table of contents data from additional periodicals out of the special collections of the Saarland University and State Library (SULB) Saarbrücken, the central subject library for Psychology in Germany. Currently 878 journals are being indexed back to the year of publication in 1993.

Olms Online is an e-book portal providing access to following collections: * Reprints: About 400 volumes with a focus on German language and literature and on philosophy. Olms Online presents titles with additional information. These are reprints with new introductions, afterwords, notes or indexes added by the editors. * Frankfurt and Leipzig Book Fair Catalogues: Book-trade catalogues, generally referred to as book fair catalogues, offer a unique overview of German and European book production over a period of nearly 300 years (1594-1860).

"Psyndex - Literature & Audiovisual Media" contains records on psychology from researchers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Compiled by the German Center for Documentation and Information in Psychology at the University of Trier (ZPID), this database covers German and English journal articles, books, chapters, reports, dissertations as well as audiovisual media. The database is bilingual: titles and descriptors are in German and English. German publications are abstracted in German; English publications in English. The database is indexed with the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms by permission of the American Psychological Association. A bilingual thesaurus is included with the database.

"Psyndex - Tests" contains records on psychology from researchers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Compiled by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID), this database covers about 5,000 extensive descriptions of psychological and educational tests used in the German-speaking countries. "Psyndex - Tests" is bilingual: titles and descriptors are in German and English. German publications are abstracted in German; English publications in English. The database also include theoretical background, testing procedures, test construction, reliability, validity, fields of application, research and other selected literature, a comprehensive discussion, and test reviews. "Psyndex - Tests" is indexed with the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms by permission of the American Psychological Association (APA). A bilingual thesaurus is included with the database.
