Book descriptions available are extended by annotations, tables of contents, and publisher information.

ImageQuest offers more than 3 million rights-cleared images from the world's leading collections with a strong academic focus. The database includes photographs, maps, diagrams, clip art and other images from over 50 renowned collections around the world. SciFinder-n is a research solution that provides access to the world's most comprehensive and authoritative collection of chemical reactions, substances and scientific literature curated by expert scientists in chemistry and related fields like physics, material science, biochemistry and genetics. Of key importance is CAS Registry, the CAS substance collection, which includes substances, their names, structures and registry numbers. In addition, proteins and nucleic acid data are indexed providing a unique environment for molecular biologists, e.g. for design of target molecules. CAJ is the most comprehensive, full-text database of Chinese journals in the world, including more than 50 million full-text articles from about 10,000 academic journals in all disciplines. The MPG subscription comprises all subject editions (Series A-J) and covers access back to 1994.

Complete full text database of Chinese publications particularly from the republican period (1911 - 1946) to the present, with a focus on publications issued before 1976. These publications are difficult to be obtained abroad, since the book market for the People's Republic of China was globally available only after the late 1970s. The database contains 700,000 titles (monographs, collections, partly journals from the republican period and other forms of text) from all subject areas, including literature and archival material. The focus lies on social sciences and humanities.

Fulltext collection of French literature transmitted orally or in writing, from sub-Saharan Africa. The corpus contains about 11.000 texts of diverse genres, e.g. novels, short stories, poems, songs, tales and legends, including numerous materials which are rare to be found; it covers literature from about 20 countries and 100 ethnic groups. Beyond the actual texts, the database contains the commentary as well as notes and comments from the reference editions the corpus is based on.

Database with more than 900 works of medieval French literature, composed in the langue d'oïl. It contains narrative prose, chanson de geste, poetry as well as spiritual and worldly drama. Texts have been treated as in scientifically acknowledged reference editions.

The database contains 18th and 19th century primary literature in German, English, and French from the Corvey library, and thus presents the holdings of a library of the nobility preserved as a whole. Nearly all textual genres are represented, whereas the contentual focus lies on the Romantic period between 1790 and 1840 (1870, respectively). Access for Max Planck researchers is subject to a local agreement free of charge.

Crystallography Journals Online provides access to following eight academic journals published by the scientific society International Union of Crystallography in association with Wiley: Acta Crystallographica Sections A to F, Journal of Applied Crystallography and Journal of Synchrotron Radiation.
