Chemical Abstracts Service SciFinder (CAS)

SciFinder® is a research discovery application that provides access to the world's most comprehensive and authoritative source of references, substances and reactions in chemistry and related sciences like physics, material science, biochemistry and genetics.

CAS REGISTRY, a separate file of chemical compounds, provides access to substances, their names, structures and registry numbers. In addition, proteins and nucleic acid data are indexed providing a unique environment for molecular biologists, e.g. for design of target molecules.

ChemZent provides access to the first and only English-searchable version of Chemisches Zentralblatt, the oldest journal of chemistry abstracts, covering the literature from 1830-1969.
