LexiQamus is a reference work and online tool for identifying and analyzing illegible words from Ottoman-Turkish texts. It can even be used to search for the recognisable parts of a word. Based on over 170,000 words and phrases from 19 different dictionaries, LexiQamus comprises the entries of the reference work "A Turkish and English lexicon" (1890) by James Redhouse and all content from the website osmanlicasozlukler.com which collects entries from Ottoman dictionaries.

The collection contains legal materials such as statutes and regulations from international and regional jurisdictions, business and industry information, country and company reports, as well as newspaper and bibliographic databases. The Linguistic Bibliography Online is an essential linguistic reference tool and provides over 300.000 bibliographical references to scholarly publications in linguistics. The database covers all disciplines of theoretical linguistics, both general and language specific. Material is included concerning all geographical areas. Particular attention is given to endangered and extinct languages as well as lesser known Indo-European and non-Indo-European languages. These latter areas are not usually covered by other bibliographies. Up-to-date information is guaranteed by the collaboration of some forty contributing specialists from all over the world. With annually over 20.000 records added, arranged according to a state-of-the-art system of subject and language descriptors, the Linguistic Bibliography remains the standard reference work for every scholar of linguistics.

The "Literary Print Culture" database collects files and directories of the "Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers". Founded in 1403, the members of the Guild of Booksellers (abbreviated: Stationers' Company) were granted a monopoly over printing and publishing in England in parts of the 16th and 17th centuries. The guild thus played a central role in the development of press censorship and copyright. In addition to numerous other archival documents (lists of members, court records, etc.), the database makes the "Stationers' Company Register" digitally accessible. This register lists almost all books printed in London between 1577 and 1924 and functioned as a censorship instrument and an early copyright register. The Stationers’ Company Archive is one of the most important resources for understanding the workings of the early book trade, the printing and publishing community, the establishment of legal requirements for copyright provisions and the history of bookbinding.

The LWW Legacy Archive contains 220 journals in nursing, medicine, and healthcare. The DFG-funded backfile originally covered the content from volume 1 to 2004, thus providing access to more than 5.000.000 pages and nearly half a million articles. For most journals included, this coverage has been extended to end of 2014.

It provides Web access to reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information from Mathematical Review and Current Mathematical Publications. The database contains information on over 4 million articles and books, with direct links to over 2.7 million articles in over 1,800 journals.

MEDLINE® is the United States National Library of Medicine's (NLM®) premier bibliographic database providing information from the following fields: Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Veterinary medicine, Allied health, Pre-clinical sciences. as well as information from international literature on biomedicine, including the following topics as they relate to biomedicine and health care: Biology, Environmental science, Marine biology, Plant and animal science, Biophysics, Chemistry. The database contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from approx. 5,000 biomedical journals published in the United States and in 70 other countries. MEDLINE contains well over 13 million citations dating back to 1946. NLM uses a controlled vocabulary of biomedical terms to index articles, to catalog books and other holdings. MEDLINE’s controlled-vocabulary thesaurus contains Medical Subject Headings (MeSH®) to describe the subject of each journal article in the database. MeSH terms provide a consistent way of retrieving information that uses different terminology for the same concept. This module supports the research of comparative law and interdisciplinary fields touching the social sciences. Of interest to historians is the inclusion of texts in Western languages on significant topics, such as Ausfuerhliches handbuch ueber den Code Napoleon (1810) and Motivi, Rapporti, opinioni e discorsi -- per la formazione del codice napoleone (1838-1849). The large British component, which includes Public General Acts, 1801-1922, assures that about half the titles are in English. In MOML 8, the legal systems of different countries are compared. It contains treatises and other legal writings, such as commentaries, encyclopaedia entries and monographs, mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries. The database is a digital collection of historical legal codes and similar statutory materials, as well as commentaries on codes from around the world, focusing on Italy, Spain, Portugal, Latin America (including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, and other countries), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, and India.
