OLC Economic Sciences is a subject oriented selection of bibliographic data from the Online Contents database that is regularly enhanced by table of contents data from 3,150 additional periodicals with more than 4,500,000 records of articles out of the special collections of the ZBW – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft and the university library of the Helmut Schmidt university, Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg.

The database OLC Ibero-America, Spain and Portugal is a regional related section from the Online Contents database that is constantly being completed with the addition of selected journals from the competent Libraries, the Library of the Ibero-American Institute Prussian Cultural Heritage (Ibero-America and the Caribbean) and the state and university library SUB Hamburg (Spain and Portugal). Currently more than 1.400 journals are being indexed. Gradually earlier editions of these journals will also be made accessible.

SOFIS contains descriptions of planned, on-going and completed (in the last 10 years) research projects from the Federal Republic of Germany, from Austria and Switzerland (more than 50,000 records in January 2014). About 450,000 social science publications are presented together in SOLIS with a short description of the contents (January 2014). 15,000 new references are added annually. There are web links to full text entries for more than 25,000 references to new publications: included therein are articles in online journals, research reports - predominantly from institutional series -, as well as congress reports and dissertations. The publications particularly deal with the socio-economic development in less developed countries and regions, and comprise research results in the fields of development policy, economic policy, foreign trade, health, education, development aid, and poverty. Additionally, access to two eJournals is enabled via the archive, as well as access to 7,400 working papers offered by the World Bank in open access mode.
