SciFinder-n is a research solution that provides access to the world's most comprehensive and authoritative collection of chemical reactions, substances and scientific literature curated by expert scientists in chemistry and related fields like physics, material science, biochemistry and genetics. Of key importance is CAS Registry, the CAS substance collection, which includes substances, their names, structures and registry numbers. In addition, proteins and nucleic acid data are indexed providing a unique environment for molecular biologists, e.g. for design of target molecules. The database contains 18th and 19th century primary literature in German, English, and French from the Corvey library, and thus presents the holdings of a library of the nobility preserved as a whole. Nearly all textual genres are represented, whereas the contentual focus lies on the Romantic period between 1790 and 1840 (1870, respectively). The collection is structured in a modular way with regard to languages and textual genres, and comprises 5,952 works which are provided in digital form for the first time. Derwent Innovations Index (DII) is a comprehensive database of international patent information, merging records from the Derwent World Patents Index® with patent citation information from the Derwent Patents Citation Index® (Derwent PCI). The index provides web access to over 14 million basic inventions and more than 20 million patents, with coverage dating back to 1963 in some technology areas. The database gives users a comprehensive overview of inventions in the global marketplace in three categories: Chemical, Engineering, and Electrical & Electronic. The bibliographic records are enriched by citation data from Derwent PCI appearing in patents from 6 major patenting authorities. Derwent DCI provides details of citations, both patent and literature, reviewed by the examiner during the examination of a patent application. Prior to May 1997, examiner and author citations were provided for 16 patent-issuing authorities. The database also contains a backfile with patent records dating back to the 1970's. Every week approximately 25,000 patent documents from more than 47 patent-issuing authorities are reviewed and value enhanced by Derwent's patent experts. In addition, every week new cited and citing references are added for approximately 45,000 records from the six major patent-issuing authorities. The resource also includes Derwent Chemical Reactions (DCR), a unique database of searchable chemical structures and other substance-based information. It is used to search for specific compounds that are indexed in Derwent World Patents Index records.

The collection licensed by the DFG comprises 1000 e-Books. In addition, access to 3,400 free electronic books from all subject areas is provided.

This collections contains 1,529 e-books containing more than 572,000 pages from 681 book titles that were written by 311 authoresses. These e-books were created from 1,830 books originally published between 1776 and 1876. The collection first and foremost contains novels and short stories, but also plays, poetry as well as a few anthologies, travel literature and children's books that stem from the holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. It is the most comprehensive compilation of women's literature from the romantic period in English language. The collection contains approximately 90 percent of the British prose published during that time. The e-books contain digitally enhanced facsimile pages of the historic book pages, and additionally bookmarks pointing to relevant sections of a work. On the e-book pages, full text search functions can be carried out within the historic text and layout.

ICSD is the world’s largest database for fully identified inorganic crystal structures. It currently contains about 193,000 peer-reviewed data entries including their atomic coordinates. Updates are made twice a year (in spring and in fall) with data taken from scientific journals and other sources. Thanks to these many heterogeneous data sources the database has a wide coverage. ICSD is also updated retroactively. The oldest records date back to the year 1913 and contain information from publications by William Henry Bragg and his son.

LexiQamus is a reference work and online tool for identifying and analyzing illegible words from Ottoman-Turkish texts. It can even be used to search for the recognisable parts of a word. Based on over 170,000 words and phrases from 19 different dictionaries, LexiQamus comprises the entries of the reference work "A Turkish and English lexicon" (1890) by James Redhouse and all content from the website osmanlicasozlukler.com which collects entries from Ottoman dictionaries.
