Currently, the MPG subscription covers access to * ACS Journals - about 80 magazines and peer-reviewed journals, including more than 1 million articles dating back to the inaugural volume of the Journal of the American Chemical Society in 1879. * ACS Symposium Series Online - a peer-reviewed collection of e-books from the ACS Symposium Series and Advances in Chemistry book series. The series contains an archive of more than 1,200 books dating back to the first Advances in Chemistry Series title published in 1949. Cambridge Books Online is the online content delivery service for Cambridge University Press's electronic book collections. The current MPG subscription comprises selected subject collections, additional content may have been licensed by individual Max Planck institutes. Walter De Gruyter publishes a wide variety of content covering humanities, medicine, the sciences and law. The "De Gruyter Online" platform provides access to title information and the electronic content for De Gruyter journals and books under one roof. Users from the MPG have access to following products: * De Gruyter Journals and Yearbooks - current content of selected serial titles available on the platform (last 13 volumes) * De Gruyter Journal Archive - backfile content of 150 titles * De Gruyter Online / Research Now E-Journal Archive - about 50 journals focusing on research in economics, formerly published by Berkeley Electronic Press until 2022 * De Gruyter eBooks - a collection of purchased e-books which is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries

Duncker & Humblot is a German producer of high-quality academic research and scholarly publications, especially in the fields of law and social science. The Duncker & Humblot eLibrary provides users from the Max Planck Society with access to following products: * e-book collections 2007-2010, containing about 900 e-books in the fields of law, economics, social sciences, history, politics, philosophy and literary studies. * e-book collection Economics 1996–2005, containing about 360 e-books * e-book collection 'Best of reprints' Economics and Finance 1875–1941, containing about 100 e-books The collection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries.

The collection licensed by the DFG comprises 1000 e-Books. In addition, access to 3,400 free electronic books from all subject areas is provided.

Elgaronline is the content platform for Edward Elgar Publishing's journals, reference works and books, including scholarly monographs, Research Handbooks, companions and more. Max Planck researchers have full text access to more than 2,600 business and economics e-books published by Edward Elgar from 1993 onwards.

Emerald Archive references full text articles from nearly 400 journals and more than 1,100 books published by Emerald until 2021. Add-on content, such as case studies, interviews, and reviews, is available. The major amount of the content originates from the field of economics. In addition, library science and engineering are covered.

This collections contains 1,529 e-books containing more than 572,000 pages from 681 book titles that were written by 311 authoresses. These e-books were created from 1,830 books originally published between 1776 and 1876. The collection first and foremost contains novels and short stories, but also plays, poetry as well as a few anthologies, travel literature and children's books that stem from the holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. It is the most comprehensive compilation of women's literature from the romantic period in English language. The collection contains approximately 90 percent of the British prose published during that time. The e-books contain digitally enhanced facsimile pages of the historic book pages, and additionally bookmarks pointing to relevant sections of a work. On the e-book pages, full text search functions can be carried out within the historic text and layout.

In the late 1800's, Dutch physician and feminist Aletta Jacobs and her husband C.V. Gerritsen began collecting books, pamphlets and periodicals reflecting the revolution of a feminist consciousness and the movement for women's rights. By the time their successors finished their work in 1945, the Gerritsen Collection was the greatest single source for the study of women's history in the world, with materials spanning four centuries and 15 languages. The Gerritsen curators gathered more than 4,700 publications from continental Europe, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, dating from 1543-1945. The anti-feminist case is presented as well as the pro-feminist; many other titles present a purely objective record of the condition of women at a given time.

The CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics (HBCP), updated annualy, provides broad coverage of all types of physical science data commonly encountered by scientists and engineers. It consists of tables of data and current international recommendations on nomenclature, symbols and units. A new series highlights the achievements of some of the major historical figures in chemistry and physics.

Karger is a scientific publisher of journals and books in all medical areas, including immunology, genetics, oncology, nephrology, neurology, cellular and molecular biology. MPG staff has full text access to the current content of the entire Karger journal collection and selected eBooks. "The Making of the Modern World: Goldsmiths'-Kress Library of Economic Literature 1450-1850" provides digital facsimile images on every page of 61,000 works of literature on economic and business published from 1450 through 1850. Fulltext searching on more than 12 million pages provides researchers unparalleled access to this vast collection of material on commerce, finance, social conditions, politics, trade and transport.

MIT Press Direct is the content platform for publications owned by the MIT Press. The Press is one of the largest and distinguished university presses in the world and a leading publisher of books and journals at the intersection of science, technology, art, social science, and design. Within the Direct to Open (D2O) model Max Planck users have access to current ebooks from selected subject collections (published between 2022 and 2024), i.e. STEM collection, art and design collection, humanities and social sciences collection. The MPG subscription also covers the complete archive collection with more than 2,500 scholarly books spanning the publishing history of the MIT Press.

The Mohr Siebeck eBooks collection contains academic books, series and multi-volume works in the subject areas of theology, history, phiosophy, law, economics and sociology. The book selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions and series purchases by MPG libraries.

Nomos eLibrary provides access to academic books and journals in the subject areas of law, political sciences, economics, media and communication sciences, history, sociology, education and cultural studies, European Union, health sciences. The book selection has been continuously extended through the acquisition of individual eBook packages by MPG libraries. From volume 2022 onwards, access is given to the complete Nomos eBook portfolio. OECD iLibrary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) featuring its books, papers and statistics and is the gateway to OECD’s analysis and data. It also contains content published by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the OECD Development Centre, PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), and the International Transport Forum (ITF).

Including Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO), the University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO) publishes new books every month from an ever-growing roster of contributing presses, each adding to the variety of subjects covered on the platform. The MPG purchased the volumes 2003-2013/2014 of 16 OSO subject collections. This selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries.

Project MUSE is a leading provider of digital humanities and social science content for the scholarly community. Since 1995 the MUSE journal collections cover full-text versions of scholarly journals from many of the world's leading university presses and scholarly societies, with over 120 publishers currently participating.

The RSC publishing platform provides access to electronic journals and books from the Royal Society of Chemistry. From this page, you can reach over 1 million chemical science articles and chapters. Users from the MPG have access to the entire journal collection, including the RSC journals archive covering articles published back to 1841. In addition, a collection of about 900 ebooks was purchased within the scope of the German national licenses program. Adorno, etc. Texts frequently appear in their original versions as well as in English translation.
