Project Euclid's mission is to advance scholarly communication in the field of theoretical and applied mathematics and statistics. The MPG licensed the EUCLID PRIME collection, a growing aggregation of well-cited, peer-reviewed journals in mathematics and statistics. Additional publications are available on an Open Access basis.

Designed for the digital world and an expanding universe of metadata users, "RDA: Resource Description and Access" is the new, unified cataloging standard. The online RDA Toolkit is the most effective way to interact with the new standard.

RiffReporter is a German news magazine based in Berlin and was founded in 2017. RiffReporter delivers in-depth and thoroughly researched journalistic content on topics such as environment, science, technology, society and global affairs. The cooperatively run journalism portal was awarded the renowned Grimme Online Award in 2018. The MPG subscription covers full text access to all content available on the RiffReporter platform.

The Royal Society publishes 9 high quality, peer reviewed journals covering the full breadth of the biological, physical and cross-disciplinary science. The Royal Society’s Philosophical Transactions, launched in 1665, was the world’s first scientific journal. It established the fundamental principles of scientific priority and peer review, used throughout scientific publishing ever since. Max Planck researchers have free access to historical journal archives. The database Russian Library and Information Sciences comprises professional journals from the fields of library science and bibliography as well as archives and museums. Adressing librarians, bibliographers and information specialists, the publications deal with various topics, e.g. the operation of libraries and archives, bibliographic standards and digitization in librarianship. Besides current titles from Russia and Ukraine, the collection also contains the archives of discontinued journals from the information and library sector.

The Russian national bibliography is going back to 1998 and consists of 8 series: * Knigi Rossii (formerly Knizhnaia letopis’): Russian book publications. * Statii iz rossiiskikh gazet (formerly Letopis’ gazetnykh statei): Bibliographic entries on documentary materials, articles, and works of fiction from every major newspaper in Russia. * Statii iz rossiiskikh zhurnalov (formerly Letopis’ zhurnal’nykh statei): The complete index to Russian journals. * Retsenzii iz rossiiskikh izdanii (formerly Letopis’ retsenzii): Book reviews (Russian and foreign) found in the central and regional Russian press. * Rossiiskie kartograficheskie izdaniia (formerly Kartograficheskaia letopis’): Bibliographic information for all cartography and maps produced in Russia. * Avtoreferaty dissertatsii (formerly Letopis’ avtoreferatov dissertatsii): Indexes all synopses of dissertations defended in research and educational establishments in the Russian Federation. * Rossiiskie notnye izdaniia (formerly Notnaia letopis’): General index to Russian music. * Rossiiskie izoizdaniia (formerly Letopis’ izoizdanii): Bibliographic index of albums, posters and reproductions published either separately or appearing in books, collected works and magazines.

ScienceOpen is a networking platform for scholars to enhance their research in the open, make an impact, and receive credit for it. The site provides advanced search and discovery functions, combined with post-publication peer review, recommendation, social sharing, and collection-building features. For more than 50 years, SIAM books have been a leading source of knowledge for the world's applied mathematics and computational science communities. SIAM's line-up of stellar, prize-winning authors and titles that address both timely and fundamental topics have made SIAM books indispensible to researchers, faculty, and students around the world. Now, for the first time, almost 400 books are available for institutions to offer to their users electronically.

The service "SIAM Journals Online" (SJO) provides access to the full texts of the 14 SIAM journals and to a database covering these journals.

The SpringerLink platform provides MPG staff with access to a huge collection of English and German eBooks from 2005 onwards, as well as the English and the German collection of the Springer Book Archive (1842-2004). In addition, the content of selected book series is available. Includes major reference works and dictionaries. Max Planck researchers who publish a monograph or edited volume with Springer Nature as an Open Access eBook receive a discount on the standard Book Publishing Charge. The journal collection on the SpringerLink platform includes more than 2,500 English-language and close to 200 German-language journals. The current subscription provides Max Planck researchers with full text access to nearly the entire journal collection. The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) ‒ Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library is a central specialised library, responsible for operating the German National Library for technology, architecture, chemistry, information technology, mathematics and physics as well as the University Library for Leibniz Universität Hannover. As the world's largest specialised library in its fields, the library has excellent collections of technical and scientific specialist and research information.

Casalini libri's full text platform offers access to over 29,000 ebooks and 840 ejournals from more than 200 Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese publishers. Max Planck users have access to: * EIO Monographs - a collection of 1,500 monographs and proceedings in humanities and social sciences from academic publishers in Italy. * EIO Periodicals Archive - pre-2011 content of 221 academic journals published by various Italian publishers.

Archive of 15 periodicals and proceedings published online by Trans Tech Publications during the period between 1984 and 2022. The archive - with its broad subject diversity and its renowned journals indexed in well-established databases (e.g. Material Science Forum, Defect and Diffusion Forum, Key Engineering Materials) - is a valuable platform for the bibliographic retrieval of scientists, especially in the field of modern solid state and materials science.

The Umwelt-Online platform contains all relevant legal regulations on topics such as environmental protection, occupational safety, transport of dangerous goods, hazardous materials and systems engineering. The content is continuously updated. zbMATH Open (formerly known as Zentralblatt MATH) is the world's most complete and longest running abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics. The MATH Database contains several million entries drawn from more than 3,500 serials and journals, and more than 1,100 book series and monographs. The entries are classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification Scheme (MSC 2000).

Zenodo is an open data repository, developed and operated by CERN. It is an catch-all repository, that welcomes research from all over the world, and from every discipline. Zenodo does not impose any requirements on format, size, access restrictions or licence. A digital object identifier (DOI) is automatically assigned to all Zenodo files and it is integrated into reporting for research funded by the European Commission.

Zoological Record provides access to publications in animal biology and biodiversity. It covers 5,000 serials, plus many other sources of information, including books, reports, and meetings. It contains, in particular, a significant amount of literature on insects, reptiles, birds, fish and wildlife which is not included elsewhere (e.g. in BIOSIS Previews). It is also a leading taxonomic reference work.
