The database is produced by the Cunningham Library at the Australian Council for Educational Research and is Australia's largest source of education information. Coverage includes trends and practices in teaching, learning and educational management.

BASE is a multidisciplinary search engine for scholarly internet resources which have been harvested from several hundred scientific repositories. Some of the indexed resources in BASE are subject to license, while most material is free available ("open access").

beck-eLibrary.DIE FACHBIBLIOTHEK provides access to academic books, textbooks, non fiction and fiction books in a variety of fields ranging from business to law, and even history and philosophy. The eLibrary is a special offer for libraries and currently contains more than 1000 book titles from the publishing houses C.H.BECK LSW, C.H.Beck RSW, Haufe, MWV, Schäffer-Poeschel, UVK, Vahlen and Versus. Max Planck researchers have access to e-books purchased by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries.

The Belarus Anti-Fascist Resistance Leaflets collection consists of 97 World War II leaflets produced during the period of German occupation of Belarus in 1941-1944. Most of the leaflets in this collection were published clandestinely by the multiple Soviet guerilla (partisan) detachments, as well as by the scores of underground resistance groups which operated in German-occupied cities and villages. The leaflets were distributed to the population of the occupied territories and were addressed to the “Belarusian brothers and sisters,” to the young men who were lured into serving in German police and paramilitary units, to the workers and farmers of various Belarus regions, etc.

This database contains the content from 30 newspaper titles published during the period of German occupation of Belarus between 1942-1945. Most of the issues were printed by underground resistance groups in secret printing press facilities operating in small Belarusian towns in the territories occupied by the Germans, while others were distributed by Belarusian partisan detachments operating from remote areas of Belarus.

The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) contains abstracts and indexes of current publications in the history of art, including scholarly journals, conferences, book, exhibition reviews, and exhibition catalogues. The records consist of bibliographic citations, abstracts, and indexing. Note that the database search includes BHA, covering 1990-2007, the International Bibliography of Art (IBA), covering the years 2008 and part of 2009, and the Répertoire de la litterature de l'art (RILA), one of the predecessors of BHA, with records that cover 1975–1989.

The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book covers the national bibliography of the Jewish people: a detailed description of all the literature printed in the Hebrew alphabet, across the world in all languages. The Hebrew bibliography includes most of the books printed in Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish, Judeo-Arabic and other Judeo languages found in Israel and worldwide, printed since the establishment of the Hebrew print (around the year 1460) till 1960. The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book also includes a short biography for authors, translators, editors involved in the Hebrew literary creation. The database includes more than 115,000 books and more than 15,000 short biographies.

BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher of 270 peer-reviewed open access journals. The portfolio of journals spans all areas of biology, biomedicine and medicine and includes broad interest titles, such as BMC Biology and BMC Medicine alongside specialist journals, such as Retrovirology and BMC Genomics. Interdisciplinary fields such as medicine, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering and biotechnology are also included. Nearly 5,500 serials are monitored for inclusion. In addition, the database covers content summaries, books and meeting abstracts, papers and posters. Content summaries include notes and letters, technical data reports, reviews, U.S. patents from 1986 to 1989 and from 1999, meeting reports from 1980 to present, bibliographies, nomenclature rules, and taxonomic keys. The BIOSIS Previews database includes the contents of Biological Abstracts (1969 to present), Biological Abstracts/RRM (1980 to present) and BioResearch Index (1969 to 1979). As part of the Web of Science (WoS) BIOSIS Previews permits convenient use of Biosystematic Codes/Names for searching groups of organisms as well as the use of Concept Codes/Headings that represent broad subject areas.
