Digi20 concentrates on the digitalization of monographs published in the second half of the 20th century, predominantly in the field of humanities and social sciences. In the first phase of the project, approx. 4,700 titles of programme segments of the publishers Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, Wilhelm Fink / Ferdinand Schöningh as well as Otto Sagner were digitized. In a second phase, further approx. 1,750 titles are being included till 2014 by consecutively digitizing all monographs up to a defined ‘Moving Wall’ of three to five years to the current year of publication.

The trilingual termbase DIN-TERM provides translations for German, French or English standardized terms. The database contains concepts from valid and withdrawn standards, draft standards and specifications.

The FHI library offers the researchers of the Fritz Haber Institute a strong support in the publication process, especially for Open Access publications. It supports the researchers in all their information needs, providing electronic and printed contents and collects special literature covering the research fields of the institute (surface science and catalysis). The library catalogue contains books, e-books, dissertations, journal volumes, book series and holdings from the department libraries.

If any one of the following criteria apply, the MIA Collective may decide to place the writer into the Reference Archive: (i) they pre-date Marx and Engels, (ii) they specifically reject Marxism, (iii) their work is practically and theoretically unconnected or hostile toward the workers movement, (iv) their work is idealistic or lacking in dialectic. The Library and Information Service (BIS) is the joint library for the Max-Planck-Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) and five institutes of the Center for Earth System Science and Sustainability. The cooperation with some university institutes regarding the library exists since the foundation of the MPI-M in 1975.

The Otto Hahn Library is a special scientific library which provides the institutes on the Max Planck Campus at Göttingen-Nikolausberg with literature and information. Its holdings primarily consist of literature covering the fields of research of the institutes Multidisciplinary Sciences and Dynamics & Self-Organization.

The library of the Max-Planck-Institute for Physics specializes in particle physics, cosmology, field and string theory and mathematical physics. Furthermore, selected books on topics in pure and applied mathematics complete the portfolio.

The scientific research library provides literature and information for both the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics and the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research. The main focus of the collection is set by the research priorities of the departments and is developed according to the research profile.

The Royal Society publishes 9 high quality, peer reviewed journals covering the full breadth of the biological, physical and cross-disciplinary science. The Royal Society’s Philosophical Transactions, launched in 1665, was the world’s first scientific journal. It established the fundamental principles of scientific priority and peer review, used throughout scientific publishing ever since. Max Planck researchers have free access to historical journal archives. The site provides advanced search and discovery functions, combined with post-publication peer review, recommendation, social sharing, and collection-building features. As the world's largest specialised library in its fields, the library has excellent collections of technical and scientific specialist and research information.

Zenodo is an open data repository, developed and operated by CERN. It is an catch-all repository, that welcomes research from all over the world, and from every discipline. Zenodo does not impose any requirements on format, size, access restrictions or licence. A digital object identifier (DOI) is automatically assigned to all Zenodo files and it is integrated into reporting for research funded by the European Commission.
