The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) contains abstracts and indexes of current publications in the history of art, including scholarly journals, conferences, book, exhibition reviews, and exhibition catalogues. The records consist of bibliographic citations, abstracts, and indexing. Note that the database search includes BHA, covering 1990-2007, the International Bibliography of Art (IBA), covering the years 2008 and part of 2009, and the Répertoire de la litterature de l'art (RILA), one of the predecessors of BHA, with records that cover 1975–1989.

Cairn offers the most comprehensive collection of French and Belgian journals in social sciences available online. Note that access to newer content is generally not free of charge (moving wall 2 to 5 years).

Cogitatio is an academic and community-oriented publisher based in Lisbon, which was founded in 2014 with the aim of promoting the open access dissemination of scientific knowledge. Cogitatio currently publishes 4 peer-reviewed Open Access journals focusing on research in the social sciences and humanities. The Digital Library of the Commons (DLC) is a gateway to the international literature on the commons. The DLC provides free and open access to full-text articles, papers, and dissertations. This site contains an author-submission portal; an Image Database; the Comprehensive Bibliography of the Commons; a Keyword Thesaurus, and links to relevant reference sources on the study of the commons.

Bei GovData handelt es sich um ein Metadatenportal, über das Bund, Länder und Kommunen ihre Daten zugänglich machen. Zentraler Bestandteil von GovData ist ein Metadatenkatalog. Über die darin enthaltenen standardisierten Metadaten (einheitliche strukturierte Beschreibungen) sind die Daten einfach auffindbar und zugänglich. Die Daten selbst werden weiterhin von den Datenbereitstellern dezentral vorgehalten und gepflegt.

HighWire Press is a division of the Stanford University Libraries, which produces the online versions of more than 1000 peer-reviewed journals mainly in the area of life sciences (biology, chemistry, medicine), supplemented by content from the social sciences. The database establishes historic books published in Germany or in the German-speaking abroad. Moreover, it covers German- and foreign language-speaking papers from journals and collected editions (congress papers and commemorative publications) as well as other historic publications. Added to this are records from the "Jahrbuch der historischen Forschung", which refers to current research work.

Die Österreichische Historische Bibliographie (ÖHB) ist eine Literaturdokumentation, die am Institut für Geschichte an der Universität Klagenfurt durchgeführt und automationsunterstützt bearbeitet wird. Die ÖHB verzeichnet die Publikationen der österreichischen Geschichtsforschung, soweit sie in Österreich erschienen sind. Beginnend mit dem Berichtsjahr 1945 sind Monographien, Reihenwerke, Artikel aus Festschriften, Sammelwerken, Zeitschriften und Periodika, Kongress- und Tagungsbänden, Aufsatzsammlungen und Katalogen sowie Diplomarbeiten, Dissertationen und Habilitationsschriften, aber auch Sach- und Personalbibliographien zu historischen Themen verzeichnet und sachlich erschlossen.

The database POLDOK, in its current version, contains up to 40,000 documents including bibliographical metadata, subject headings and summaries about the topic "Politics of the 80ies". The retrieval system "Freitext" enables fast and convenient access to the database. Freitext was developed in the course of the BMFT project "FiSch - Fachinformation in Schulen" under the management of Prof. Dr. Robert Funk. -- Die Datenbank POLDOK enthält in der vorliegenden Fassung knapp 40.000 Dokumente mit bibliographischen Angaben, Schlagwörtern und Kurzreferaten zum Themenbereich "Politik der 80er Jahre". Das Retrievalsystem Freitext ermöglicht einen schnellen und komfortablen Suchzugriff auf die Datenbank. Freitext wurde im BMFT-Projekt "FiSch - Fachinformation in Schulen" unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Robert Funk entwickelt.
