Complete full text database of Chinese publications particularly from the republican period (1911 - 1946) to the present, with a focus on publications issued before 1976. These publications are difficult to be obtained abroad, since the book market for the People's Republic of China was globally available only after the late 1970s. The database contains 700,000 titles (monographs, collections, partly journals from the republican period and other forms of text) from all subject areas, including literature and archival material.
