Online-Ausgabe von Kürschners Deutschem Gelehrten-Kalender, die immer auf dem aktuellen Stand gehalten wird und die gezielte Suche nach Kriterien wie z.B. dem Fachgebiet ermöglicht. Zusätzlich zur gedruckten Ausgabe sind Angaben zu ca. 8.800 Personen, die seit 1996 als verstorben ermittelt wurden.

LIVIVO bundles scientifically relevant resources from the subjects fields medicine, health, nutrition, environmental and agricultural sciences. It provides a common search interface over various data sources, such as library catalogs, specialist bibliographic databases, full texts from journals, and quality-controlled web content. LIVIVO combines the former ZB MED search portals MEDPILOT (2003 to 2015) and GREENPILOT (2009 to 2015).

Im Rahmen der digitalen Monumenta Gremaniae Historica (dMGH) wurden in einem von der DFG geförderten Gemeinschaftsprojekt zwischen den MGH und der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek, München, sämtliche Editionsbände der MGH digitalisiert und Open Access zur Verfügung gestellt. Neue Bände werden nach einer Schutzfrist von drei Jahren in die dMGH aufgenommen („moving wall“). Bis Ende 2010 war die Volltexterfassung der älteren Bände abgeschlossen. Eine Volltextsuche ist über die Abteilungen möglich: - Scriptores (Geschichtsschreiber) - Leges (Rechtstexte) - Diplomata (Urkunden) - Epistolae (Briefe) - Antiquitates (Dichtung und Gedenküberlieferung) - Quellen zur Geistesgeschichte des Mittelalters (QQ zur Geistesgesch.) - Deutsches Mittelalter. The Mohr Siebeck eBooks collection contains academic books, series and multi-volume works in the subject areas of theology, history, phiosophy, law, economics and sociology. The book selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions and series purchases by MPG libraries.

The Library of the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History is one of the world’s leading legal history libraries which owns up to 440,000 printed items and a multitude of electronic resources.

The Otto Hahn Library is a special scientific library which provides the institutes on the Max Planck Campus at Göttingen-Nikolausberg with literature and information. Its holdings primarily consist of literature covering the fields of research of the institutes Multidisciplinary Sciences and Dynamics & Self-Organization.

The Library of the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity is a specialized library with a focus on religious studies, anthropology, political science and sociology. The library does not participate in interlibrary loans but serves as a reference library to provide literature and information, mainly to the members of the Institute.

Nomos eLibrary provides access to academic books and journals in the subject areas of law, political sciences, economics, media and communication sciences, history, sociology, education and cultural studies, European Union, health sciences. The book selection has been continuously extended through the acquisition of individual eBook packages by MPG libraries. From volume 2022 onwards, access is given to the complete Nomos eBook portfolio. Die Österreichische Historische Bibliographie (ÖHB) ist eine Literaturdokumentation, die am Institut für Geschichte an der Universität Klagenfurt durchgeführt und automationsunterstützt bearbeitet wird. Die ÖHB verzeichnet die Publikationen der österreichischen Geschichtsforschung, soweit sie in Österreich erschienen sind. Beginnend mit dem Berichtsjahr 1945 sind Monographien, Reihenwerke, Artikel aus Festschriften, Sammelwerken, Zeitschriften und Periodika, Kongress- und Tagungsbänden, Aufsatzsammlungen und Katalogen sowie Diplomarbeiten, Dissertationen und Habilitationsschriften, aber auch Sach- und Personalbibliographien zu historischen Themen verzeichnet und sachlich erschlossen.

Online Contents Classics provides access to the tables of contents of journals in the field of classical studies, especially Greek and Latin Philology, Prehistory, Early History, Ancient History and Archaeology, Egyptology. It is a subject-oriented selection of bibliographic data from the Database Online Contents. This database is regularly enhanced by table of contents data from additional periodicals out of the special collections of the University Library Heidelberg as German central subject library for Archaeology and Egyptology and of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, as German central subject library for Greek and Latin Philology and Ancient History.

The creation and improvement of the Online Contents Contemporary History database was supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft within the framework of the Clio-online network and the Internet portal Zeitgeschichte-online until 2008. The further development of the database is co-ordinated by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SBB-PK) in cooperation with the Research Centre for Contemporary History in Potsdam, the Lower Saxon State and University Library Göttingen, the German central subject library for Anglo-American history, the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (BSB; Bavarian State Library), the German central subject library for General History; History of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy, East-European History, the Bibliothek für Zeitgeschichte in der Württembergischen Landesbibliothek Stuttgart as special library for the contemporary history and the library of the Stiftung Topographie des Terrors (Foundation Topography of Terror Berlin).

The database OLC History is a subject-oriented selection of bibliographic data from the Online Contents database which is supplemented weekly by additional data provided by a number of German libraries. The creation and improvement of the Online Contents History database is currently supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft within the framework of the Clio-online network. The development of the database is coordinated by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SBB-PK) in cooperation with the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (BSB; Bavarian State Library) Munich, the German central subject library for General History; Prehistory and Early History; Ancient history; History of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy, East-European History. The database, which is updated weekly, contains the contents of about 1,100 journals, usually beginning with articles published in 1993.

The database OLC Ibero-America, Spain and Portugal is a regional related section from the Online Contents database that is constantly being completed with the addition of selected journals from the competent Libraries, the Library of the Ibero-American Institute Prussian Cultural Heritage (Ibero-America and the Caribbean) and the state and university library SUB Hamburg (Spain and Portugal). Currently more than 1.400 journals are being indexed. Gradually earlier editions of these journals will also be made accessible.
