PsychiatryOnline is a platform providing access to the journals published by the American Psychiatric Association. The subscription covers access to the archival collections of four of the publishing society's e-journals, specializing in the areas of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychosomatics. This includes all content from volume 1 until the year 2005.

Though access to current volumes is no longer licensed, access to the Bentham's e-Journal archive - 2008 is still provided.

BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher of 270 peer-reviewed open access journals. The portfolio of journals spans all areas of biology, biomedicine and medicine and includes broad interest titles, such as BMC Biology and BMC Medicine alongside specialist journals, such as Retrovirology and BMC Genomics. Walter De Gruyter publishes a wide variety of content covering humanities, medicine, the sciences and law. The "De Gruyter Online" platform provides access to title information and the electronic content for De Gruyter journals and books under one roof. Frontiers is a community-oriented open-access academic publisher and research network. It was launched in 2007 by scientists from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and aims to provide better tools and services to researchers in the Internet age. Since then, Frontiers has become one of the fastest-growing open-access scholarly publishers: over 400,000 high-quality, peer-reviewed articles have been published in about 200 community-driven journals across more than 300 specialty niches in science, medicine and technology. In the late 1800's, Dutch physician and feminist Aletta Jacobs and her husband C.V. Gerritsen began collecting books, pamphlets and periodicals reflecting the revolution of a feminist consciousness and the movement for women's rights. By the time their successors finished their work in 1945, the Gerritsen Collection was the greatest single source for the study of women's history in the world, with materials spanning four centuries and 15 languages. The Gerritsen curators gathered more than 4,700 publications from continental Europe, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, dating from 1543-1945. The anti-feminist case is presented as well as the pro-feminist; many other titles present a purely objective record of the condition of women at a given time.

The Otto Hahn Library is a special scientific library which provides the institutes on the Max Planck Campus at Göttingen-Nikolausberg with literature and information. Its holdings primarily consist of literature covering the fields of research of the institutes Multidisciplinary Sciences and Dynamics & Self-Organization.

The Library of the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity is a specialized library with a focus on religious studies, anthropology, political science and sociology. The library does not participate in interlibrary loans but serves as a reference library to provide literature and information, mainly to the members of the Institute.
