In view of the failed revolution of the years 1848 / 1849, this collection of the so called 'forty-eighters' documents their influences on the development of the USA in the 19th century. The database Russian Military and Security Periodicals comprises numerous journals and newspapers covering military and security developments in Russia, published since 1992. Issued by the Russian Military as well as independent sources, the publications cover all branches of the armed forces, including the Russian Air Force, Army and Navy. While the majority of titles is published in Russian, the collection also includes several English-language journals.
