Brill's Biology E-Books Online is the electronic version of the book publication program of Brill in the field of Biology 2007-2020.

BioOne, a nonprofit organization, hosts and provides Web-based access to the full text of a uniquely valuable set of high-impact bio-science research journals. All of these journals are published by scholarly societies and other independent science publishers, and many are not available through other online services. Cambridge Books Online is the online content delivery service for Cambridge University Press's electronic book collections. The current MPG subscription comprises selected subject collections, additional content may have been licensed by individual Max Planck institutes. Walter De Gruyter publishes a wide variety of content covering humanities, medicine, the sciences and law. The "De Gruyter Online" platform provides access to title information and the electronic content for De Gruyter journals and books under one roof. Users from the MPG have access to following products: * De Gruyter Journals and Yearbooks - current content of selected serial titles available on the platform (last 13 volumes) * De Gruyter Journal Archive - backfile content of 150 titles * De Gruyter Online / Research Now E-Journal Archive - about 50 journals focusing on research in economics, formerly published by Berkeley Electronic Press until 2022 * De Gruyter eBooks - a collection of purchased e-books which is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries

From the first book published in English, the book from William Caxton, through the age of Spenser and Shakespeare and the tumult of the English Civil War, this collection contains about 100,000 of over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640) and Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700) and their revised editions, as well as the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661) collection and the Early English Books Tract Supplement. -- Angefangen vom ersten in englischer Sprache veröffentlichten Buch, das Buch von William Caxton, hindurch durch das Zeitalter von Spenser und Shakespeare und den Tumult des Englischen Bürgerkrieges, umfasst diese Sammlung mehr als 100.000 der 125.000 in den Kurztitelkatalogen von Polard & Redgrave (1475-1640) und Wing (1641-1700) gelisteten Bücher im Volltext. Karger is a scientific publisher of journals and books in all medical areas, including immunology, genetics, oncology, nephrology, neurology, cellular and molecular biology. MPG staff has full text access to the current content of the entire Karger journal collection and selected eBooks. In addition, the agreement covers arising article-processing charges for Max Planck authors in Karger hybrid and Gold Open Access journals. Further details are available on the MPDL website.

Language Description Heritage (LDH) provides open access to descriptive material about the world's languages with a focus on traditionally difficult to obtain works. This collection is being compiled at first by the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and now by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History. -- Language Description Heritage (LDH) ist eine Datenbank, die freien Zugriff auf deskriptive Materialien zu den Sprachen der Welt gewährt. Dabei legt den Schwerpunkt auf überlicherweise schwer erhältlich Arbeiten. Die Sammlung wurde zuerst am Max-Planck-Institut für Evolutionäre Anthropology angelegt und wird nun am Max-Planck-Institut für Menschheitsgeschichte fortgeführt.

The Press is one of the largest and distinguished university presses in the world and a leading publisher of books and journals at the intersection of science, technology, art, social science, and design. Within the Direct to Open (D2O) model Max Planck users have access to current ebooks from selected subject collections (published between 2022 and 2024), i.e. STEM collection, art and design collection, humanities and social sciences collection. Die Bibliothek ist eine Spezialbibliothek mit Sammelschwerpunkten in den jeweiligen Arbeitsgebieten des Instituts: biomedizinische Optik, Biophysik, molekulare Biomechanismen, molekulare Neurobiologie und Zellphysiologie.

The Library and Information Service (BIS) is the joint library for the Max-Planck-Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) and five institutes of the Center for Earth System Science and Sustainability. The cooperation with some university institutes regarding the library exists since the foundation of the MPI-M in 1975.
