PeerJ is an Open Access, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal. It considers and publishes Research Articles in the Biological and Medical Sciences. It aims for rapid decision making and will publish articles as soon as they are ready. PeerJ operates a 'Lifetime publishing plan' model. Unlike many Open Access publications which charge authors per publication, PeerJ provides low-cost publishing plans to individuals, which gives them lifetime rights to publish with PeerJ for free. Periodicals Archive Online is a major archive that makes the backfiles of scholarly periodicals in the arts, humanities and social sciences available electronically, providing access to the searchable full text of hundreds of titles. The database spans more than two centuries of content, 37 key subject areas, and multiple languages.

This historic journal index enables the simultaneous search in millions of citations for articles published in the arts, humanities and social sciences, across more than 300 years. It enables researchers quickly and comprehensively to identify articles relevant to their field of study and reduces what could take years of research to a matter of minutes. Journals indexed span 37 key subject areas and multiple languages.

The database comprises numerous important periodicals published since 1997 in the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. It includes journals as well as neswpapers which are mostly in Russian and cover various issues of domestic and international importance.

The Miras Maktoob collection of Persian e-books consists of 249 volumes (189 works) originally published by the Written Heritage Research Institute (Miras Maktoob), a non-governmental organization in Tehran. These e-books contain both Persian and Arabic works on Islamic history and culture in the broadest sense.

The Portico digital preservation service was created in 2002 with the support of libraries and publishers to ensure that the world's scholarship, now stored and disseminated largely in digital form, will be accessible to future generations. Users from the Max Planck Society gain access to preserved content when specific conditions or “trigger events” cause titles to no longer be available from the publisher or through a successor.

Portland Press Limited, the wholly-owned trading subsidiary of the Biochemical Society, is a leading innovative publisher of journals, books and electronic resources. The central topic of the database is the history of the DPs (Displaced Persons) in Europe. For this purpose, approx. 3,000 documents, made available as image files and via full text search, have been compiled. A major amount of data originates from the Wiener Library in London and from the National Archives of the UK with holdings from the General Correspondence of the Foreign Office, the Control Office for Germany and Austria and the Control Commission for Germany. The project was tutored by Dan Stone (Royal Holloway College, University of London), who wrote an introductory essay. Further contributions to the topic supplementing the database were authored by famous historians, specializing in Jewish and DP history, from Great Britain, Germany and Israel, among them Michael Brenner (Munich) and Angelika Königseder (Berlin). Through the content from the Wiener Library, a certain emphasis lies on Jewish DP history.

Preprint Citation Index is a multidisciplinary collection of preprints from a wide range of leading repositories, including arXiv, bioRxiv, chemRxiv, medRxiv, and Preprints.org. Currently, it provides more than 2 million articles ahead of the formal journal publication in the sciences, social sciences and arts & humanities. Papers from more than a dozen additional repositories will be added throughout 2023. Within the Web of Science platform researchers can thus discover preprint records alongside peer-reviewed journal articles and other content sets. This simplifies the process of evaluating preprint quality and trustworthiness by connecting preprints to the versions of record or linking to other scholarly output from preprint authors and the citation network in Web of Science. Furthermore you can link directly to the preprint repositories to view each version of the preprint and download full texts.
