Book Collection
The database contains 18th and 19th century primary literature in German, English, and French from the Corvey library, and thus presents the holdings of a library of the nobility preserved as a whole. Nearly all textual genres are represented, whereas the contentual focus lies on the Romantic period between 1790 and 1840 (1870, respectively). The collection is structured in a modular way with regard to languages and textual genres, and comprises 5,952 works which are provided in digital form for the first time. ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses, covering materials back to the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, as well as to European dissertations from the 17th century. The database is the official dissertations repository for the Library of Congress, with 4 million bibliographic citations, 2 million full texts, 3000 contributing Institutions worldwide and 130,000 works added annually.

The EZB is a huge directory of electronic journals which mirrors the central Max Planck Society subscriptions as well as the local licensing situation of the institutes. Access rights to the contents of the individual journals are indicated with "traffic lights". Entries are searchable on journal level.

Throughout Europe, national patent offices and the European Patent Office (EPO) offer free patent information on the Internet Patents reveal solutions to technical problems, and they represent an inexhaustable source of information: more than 80 percent of man's technical knowledge is described in patent literature. From the middle of 1998 onwards, esp@cenet users have been able to access the bibliographic data of all patents published in the preceding two years by any member state of the European Patent Organisation, as well as by the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In addition, full-page facsimile images of documents are also retrievable to facilitate more detailed analysis of these documents. The data for this particular service is stored at the relevant national office.

The online statistics collection delivers a browser-based interface to IMF statistics. Search across databases for concept, country, or aggregate information. Results can be downloaded in a variety of file formats to facilitate use in further analysis or reports. International Financial Statistics (IFS) - IFS statistics include current data on exchange rates, international liquidity, international interest rates, prices, national accounts, and international transactions (including balance of payments and international investment positions). Direction of Trade Statistics (DOT) - The database includes: total bilateral and multilateral exports and imports aggregated at national or regional group level data for the most recent six quarters and the latest year for 169 countries, and ten quarters and five years for the world and area tables. Government Finance Statistics (GFS) - The IMF Government Finance Statistics contains statistical data on government financial operations for 145 IMF member countries. Where reported, the database contains time series from 1990 onwards using the Government Finance Statistics Manual, 2001 (GFSM 2001) framework. The statistics, issued quarterly, are updated as new data are received and time series become available. These time series present combined statistics on revenue, expenses, transactions in nonfinancial assets and financial assets and liabilities as well as for stocks of assets and liabilities of general government and its subsectors.
