AIP Conference Proceedings contain over 100,000 articles available from Vol. 1 (1970) onwards and is growing by 100 volumes every year. High quality proceedings of events in physics, materials science and relevant mathematical disciplines are published.
The Scitation platform offers access to electronic journals published by the American Institute of Physics and its member societies. Users from the MPG have access to journals of following societies: * Acoustical Society of America (ASA) * American Association of Physics Teacher (AAPT) * American Institute of Physics (AIP), incl. AIP Conference Proceedings * American Physical Society (APS) * Science & Technology of Materials, Interfaces, and Processing (AVS) * Society of Rheolog The MPG subscription covers article-processing charges for Max Planck authors in AIP's own journals as of 2020; OA publication in most of AIP's partner societies journals will be made available in 2021. Further details are available on the MPDL website.
Astronomy & Astrophysics is an international journal which publishes papers on all aspects of astronomy and astrophysics (theoretical, observational, and instrumental) independently of the techniques used to obtain the results. Max Planck researchers have full text access to all A&A volumes. In addition, the Max Planck Society covers article-processing charges for Max Planck authors centrally. Further details are available on the MPDL website.
Frontiers is a community-oriented open-access academic publisher and research network. It was launched in 2007 by scientists from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and aims to provide better tools and services to researchers in the Internet age. Since then, Frontiers has become one of the fastest-growing open-access scholarly publishers: over 20,000 high-quality, peer-reviewed articles have been published in 45 community-driven journals across more than 300 specialty niches in science, medicine and technology. The Max Planck Society covers article-processing charges for Max Planck authors centrally. Further details are available on the MPDL website.
The journal collection on the SpringerLink platform includes more than 2,500 English-language and close to 200 German-language journals. The current subscription provides Max Planck researchers with full text access to the entire journal collection. In addition, the Max Planck Society covers article-processing charges in line with the SpringerOpen and the Springer Open Choice programmes. Further details are available on the MPDL website.
