Brill Scholarly Editions is a text edition platform, providing access to selected Brill's reference works, including: * The Coptic Gnostic Library Online continues where the Dead Sea Scrolls left off. The main sources of information for the Gnostic religion are the so-called Nag Hammadi codices, written in Coptic. * Gregorii Nysseni Opera Online is the ultimate online critical text edition of Gregory of Nyssa's works based on all available known manuscripts, introduced with a complete discussion of the textual transmission and accompanied by extensive annotations on the biblical, classical and patristic sources, and indices. Cambridge Books Online is the online content delivery service for Cambridge University Press's electronic book collections. The current MPG subscription comprises selected subject collections, additional content may have been licensed by individual Max Planck institutes. The Digital Library of the Catholic Reformation makes the documentary riches of this era accessible, adding functionalities that maximize the flexibility with which researchers can search, view, organize, and manipulate this historically important source material. With new content uploads occurring on a regular basis, the database offers a constantly growing treasury of documents, including papal and synodal decrees, catechisms and inquisitorial manuals, biblical commentaries, theological treatises and systems, liturgical writings, saints' lives, and devotional works.

Chinese Ancient Books provides access to fulltexts of 10.000 pre-modern Chinese works.

The Digital Library of Classic Protestant Texts gives researchers access to an extensive range of seminal works from the Reformation and post-Reformation eras. With new content uploads occurring on a regular basis, the database offers a constantly growing treasury of theological writings, biblical commentaries, confessional documents, and polemical treatises written by more than 300 Protestant authors.

The database contains 18th and 19th century primary literature in German, English, and French from the Corvey library, and thus presents the holdings of a library of the nobility preserved as a whole. Nearly all textual genres are represented, whereas the contentual focus lies on the Romantic period between 1790 and 1840 (1870, respectively). The collection is structured in a modular way with regard to languages and textual genres, and comprises 5,952 works which are provided in digital form for the first time. All works printed in Europe before 1701, regardless of language, fall within the scope of the project, together with all pre-1701 works in European languages printed further afield. Early European Books builds upon and complements Early English Books Online (EEBO) and is largely concerned with non-Anglophone materials. Collections available (to users in Italy): Collection 2 - contains early printed volumes from the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze. The selection of works focuses on four collections of particular historic and bibliographic importance within the library's holdings from this period.

On the basis of the English Short Title Catalogue, Eighteenth Century Collections Online enable access to more than 180,000 titles of books, pamphlets, essays and single sheet prints primarily published in Great Britain.

This collections contains 1,529 e-books containing more than 572,000 pages from 681 book titles that were written by 311 authoresses. These e-books were created from 1,830 books originally published between 1776 and 1876. The collection first and foremost contains novels and short stories, but also plays, poetry as well as a few anthologies, travel literature and children's books that stem from the holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. It is the most comprehensive compilation of women's literature from the romantic period in English language. The collection contains approximately 90 percent of the British prose published during that time. The e-books contain digitally enhanced facsimile pages of the historic book pages, and additionally bookmarks pointing to relevant sections of a work. On the e-book pages, full text search functions can be carried out within the historic text and layout.

This collection altogether (in two parts) contains more than 220,000 pages from 848 ebooks by authoresses of the 18th and 19th centuries; first and foremost covering short stories, but also plays, travel literature, children's books, biographies and memoirs. The ebooks were created from books which were originally published during the classical and romantic periods, the pre-March era (Vormärz), the period of Young Germany (Junges Deutschland) and afterwards, and which stem from holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. The collection contains digitally enhanced facsimile pages of the historic book pages, with links pointing to relevant sections of the works.

In the late 1800's, Dutch physician and feminist Aletta Jacobs and her husband C.V. Gerritsen began collecting books, pamphlets and periodicals reflecting the revolution of a feminist consciousness and the movement for women's rights. By the time their successors finished their work in 1945, the Gerritsen Collection was the greatest single source for the study of women's history in the world, with materials spanning four centuries and 15 languages. The Gerritsen curators gathered more than 4,700 publications from continental Europe, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, dating from 1543-1945. The anti-feminist case is presented as well as the pro-feminist; many other titles present a purely objective record of the condition of women at a given time.

"The Making of the Modern World: Goldsmiths'-Kress Library of Economic Literature 1450-1850" provides digital facsimile images on every page of 61,000 works of literature on economic and business published from 1450 through 1850. Fulltext searching on more than 12 million pages provides researchers unparalleled access to this vast collection of material on commerce, finance, social conditions, politics, trade and transport.

The Mohr Siebeck eBooks collection contains academic books, series and multi-volume works in the subject areas of theology, history, phiosophy, law, economics and sociology. The book selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions and series purchases by MPG libraries.

Nomos eLibrary provides access to academic books and journals in the subject areas of law, political sciences, economics, media and communication sciences, history, sociology, education and cultural studies, European Union, health sciences. Including Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO), the University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO) publishes new books every month from an ever-growing roster of contributing presses, each adding to the variety of subjects covered on the platform. The MPG purchased the volumes 2003-2013/2014 of 16 OSO subject collections. This selection is continuously extended by single e-book acquisitions by MPG libraries.

Facsimile edition of the "Patrologia Graeca", edited by Jacques-Paul Migne from 1857 to 1866 in more than 160 volumes. The database comprises works of the Greek church literature beginning with Pseudo-Clemens (100 AD) up to Kallistos (1478) and thus makes available the important Greek Christian authors and the most influential works of theology, philosophy, history and literature of the late ancient world and the early Middle Ages. Texts are made easily accessible by an index of contents in Latin and Greek language, by an index of authors, a title index and an index of subject. All of these indexes are full text ones.

The Patrologia Latina Database is an electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's Patrologia Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, and the four volumes of indexes published between 1862 and 1865. Patrologia Latina comprises the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. The complete Patrologia Latina is included with all prefatory material, original texts, critical apparatus and indexes. Migne's column numbers, essential references for scholars, are included.

The Miras Maktoob collection of Persian e-books consists of 249 volumes (189 works) originally published by the Written Heritage Research Institute (Miras Maktoob), a non-governmental organization in Tehran. These e-books contain both Persian and Arabic works on Islamic history and culture in the broadest sense.

The SpringerLink platform provides MPG staff with access to a huge collection of English and German eBooks from 2005 onwards, as well as the English and the German collection of the Springer Book Archive (1842-2004). In addition, the content of selected book series is available. Includes major reference works and dictionaries. Max Planck researchers who publish a monograph or edited volume with Springer Nature as an Open Access eBook receive a discount on the standard Book Publishing Charge. Universitetskaja Biblioteka Online offers ebooks on Russian Literature and Linguistics, History, Law, Economics, Social Sciences and Culture as well as Russian, Eurasian and Slavic Studies. The ebooks are hosted on University Library Online, e-content platform with English language interface. Additionally, for gaining a deeper understanding of Russia and Russian language, it provides access to: encyclopedias, audiobooks and maps.

This collection contains 35.000 pages of English-speaking national literature from 116 books originally published between 1789 and 1834. Independently from authors' places of birth, their works have been selected for the collection according to their Wales-related content. The collection has been compiled by members of Cardiff University, Wales, from literature holdings of the Fürstliche Bibliothek Corvey. E-books contain digitally enhanced facsimile pages of historical book pages, and even bookmarks to relevant parts of works.
