Crystallography Journals Online provides access to following eight academic journals published by the scientific society International Union of Crystallography in association with Wiley: Acta Crystallographica Sections A to F, Journal of Applied Crystallography and Journal of Synchrotron Radiation. Users from the Max Planck Society have full text access to all articles, including the complete journal archive reaching back to 1948.

IOPscience is a platform for scientific content published by IOP Publishing and selected publishing partners. Users from the Max Planck Society have access to nearly the entire journal collection. This includes, but is not limited to, the content provided by the Institute of Physics Publishing, Turpion Publications (English translations of leading Russian journals) and American Astronomical Society Publications. Founded in 1916, the Optical Society of America (OSA) was organized to increase and diffuse the knowledge of optics, pure and applied. One of the major activities of the Society is the publication of peer-reviewed journals and books. OSA Publishing's Digital Library (formerly InfoBase) is its online repository including content from OSA's journals, proceedings and co-publications. Though access to current content is no longer licensed, access to the volumes 2007 - 2011 of OSA's journals and proceedings is still possible.

The journal collection on the SpringerLink platform includes more than 2,500 English-language and close to 200 German-language journals. The current subscription provides Max Planck researchers with full text access to the entire journal collection. In addition, the Max Planck Society covers article-processing charges in line with the SpringerOpen and the Springer Open Choice programmes. Further details are available on the MPDL website.
