The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society strives to provide its members and the worldwide scientific community with a comprehensive collection of high-quality information products and services, stretching across chemistry, physics, and biology. Currently, the MPG subscription covers access to * ACS Journals - about 50 magazines and peer-reviewed journals, including more than 1 million articles dating back to the inaugural volume of the Journal of the American Chemical Society in 1879. * ACS Symposium Series Online - a peer-reviewed collection of e-books from the ACS Symposium Series and Advances in Chemistry book series. The series contains an archive of more than 1,200 books dating back to the first Advances in Chemistry Series title published in 1949. CAJ is the most comprehensive, full-text database of Chinese journals in the world, including more than 50 million full-text articles from about 10,000 academic journals in all disciplines. The MPG subscription comprises all subject editions (Series A-J) and covers access back to 1994.

The Company of Biologists, established in 1925, is a non-profit organization whose objectives are the advancement and promotion of research in, and the study of, all branches of biology. The Company's journals "Development", "Journal of Cell Science", and "The Journal of Experimental Biology" are international in their outlook, reputation and readership. Recently launched "Disease Models & Mechanisms" joins this portfolio, and was turned into an Open Access journal as of 2011.

Crystallography Journals Online provides access to following eight academic journals published by the scientific society International Union of Crystallography in association with Wiley: Acta Crystallographica Sections A to F, Journal of Applied Crystallography and Journal of Synchrotron Radiation. The "De Gruyter Online" platform provides access to title information and the electronic content for De Gruyter journals and books under one roof. DigiZeitschriften is a digital library containing digitized back issues of core German research journals. At the moment the platform provides full-text access to more than 600 journals dating back to 1850. The archive content is edited on an ongoing basis. Any existing gaps will be filled and missing data steadily added. Users from the MPG have access to the complete journal collection, older public domain content is available free of charge to anyone.

The platform provides access to the peer-reviewed journals of the society, including Journal of The Electrochemical Society (JES), ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology (JSS), ECS Electrochemistry Letters (EEL), ECS Solid State Letters (SSL) and Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters (ESL, journal archive). In addition, you'll find: ECS Transactions (ECST, proceedings of ECS and ECS-sponsored symposia) and ECS Meeting Abstracts (extended abstracts of the technical papers presented at the ECS biannual meetings and ECS-sponsored meetings). The MPG subscription also covers ECS Plus, allowing Max Planck authors to publish their articles open access in ECS journals free of charge.

The ScienceDirect interface provides access to the electronic content owned by Elsevier and third-party information providers like Cell Press. Max Planck researchers have full text access to current content in "Current Biology" and "Acta Materialia" as well as pre-2019 content from 900 Elsevier eJournals (incl. the journals of the former publishers Academic Press and Urban & Fischer) and Cell Press eJournals. The MPG subscription also covers a collection of 680 Elsevier eBooks acquired in 2015. In addition, selected eJournal and eBook backfiles have been purchased within the scope of the German national licenses program.

F1000 provides a suite of services to support researchers in discovering literature, and then writing and communicating their own work. Max Planck users have access to F1000Prime - a literature awareness tool that comprehensively highlights and reviews the most interesting papers published in biology in medicine. It is based on the recommendations of a faculty of selected leading scientists and enables researchers to set up a personalized literature service. In addition, the Max Planck Society covers article-processing charges for F1000Research centrally. Further details are available on the MPDL website.

Founded in 2001, Future Science Group is a progressive publisher focused on breakthrough medical, biotechnological and scientific research. Its portfolio consists of two imprints, Future Science and Future Medicine, and the e-Journals from both collections are available to Max Planck users.

GeoScienceWorld (GSW) is a nonprofit collaborative and comprehensive resource for research and communications in the earth sciences, which is built on a core database of peer-reviewed journals and is integrated with the GeoRef index. The platforms offers a single point of access to more than 40 full text scholarly journals from leading geoscientific organizations, plus specialized searching capabilities and links to millions of relevant resources hosted elsewhere on the Web. Though access to current volumes is no longer licensed, perpetual access rights have been granted to the content published until August 2018.

The IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL) provides access to almost a third of the world's current electrical engineering and computer science literature, featuring high-quality content from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). IEL covers all IEEE journals, transactions, and magazines; IEEE conference proceedings; IET journals and conference proceedings; IEEE published standards; and IEEE Standards Dictionary Online. The subscription includes complimentary access to selected VDE VERLAG Conference Proceedings. Access is provided via the IEEE Xplore interface.
