The database contains exclusively English full texts from approx. 250 newspapers from all states and territories of the US, published between 1800 and 1900, and comprises approx. 1.5 million pages.
Digitization is based on holdings of the Library of Congress, the Wisconsin Historical Society, the South Carolina Library, the Western Reserve Historical Society, the Scholarly Resources Archives, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and the Maryland State Archive.
